Brother wins German Design Award 2020

Brother’s special environmental website has won the German Design Award 2020.

Brother Industries, Ltd. has won the German Design Award Winner 2020, an international prize given by the German Design Council, for its special environmental website “brotherearth.com” in the category Excellent Communications Design-Web.

The German Design Awards is an international, prestigious design competition organised by the German Design Council and only open to projects nominated by the German Design Council from among those recognised for their excellent design achievements. This competition honours those objects with four accolades, including Gold, Winner, Special Mention, and Nominee.

The special environmental website “brotherearth.com” contains content, such as ‘Click for the Earth’ as a project in which Brother donates ¥1 ($0.009/ € 0.008) for each click on behalf of users.

Brother’s attitude toward the environment, environmental activities, and eco-technologies. The mechanism of ‘Click for the Earth’, which raises awareness about environmental protection, was recognised by this award.
