All quiet on the HP front

The company has announced that it wants its shareholders to have the full picture before it responds to Xerox’s latest offer.

HP Inc. will present a live audio webcast of a conference call to review financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended 31 January 2020 on Monday, 24 February 2020 at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT.

At that time, the company said, it “will share additional information about its plan to drive sustainable long-term value for its shareholders, including through the execution of the Company’s multi-year strategic and financial plan and the deployment of its strong balance sheet.”

HP stated it wants its shareholders to have full information on the Company’s earnings and the value inherent in the Company before responding to Xerox’s 10 February press release.

Analysts are speculating that in its first fiscal quarter results HP will report another reduction in sales. Data compiled by Bloomberg suggests a 1% reduction in sales, revenues of $14.6 billion (€13.4 billion).
