Static Control recently won The Recyclers’ Supplier of the Year award and has been announced as an approved supplier for the International Business Products Inc. (IBPI) group.

The award is voted for by readers of The Recycler and are awarded to the winners during the annual Awards evening at Paperworld/Remanexpo in Frankfurt. During The Recycler Live seminar programme, Static Control’s General Counsel Elizabeth McKee delivered a well-attended presentation titled A Legal Perspective for Remanufacturers, which covered many of the ongoing legal cases in the industry.

“We are thrilled to win the Supplier of the Year award this year. We want to thank all of our customers and all who voted for us. This is the third time we have won Supplier of the Year at The Recycler Awards, which is truly an honour,” said CEO Ken Lalley. “Static Control is dedicated to providing remanufacturers with a total full-range of products to help their businesses, which includes toners, chips, components and cartridges. This recognition helps us know that we are meeting and exceeding the needs of customers.”

Static Control’s booth was busy throughout the duration for the show. Simon Grimes, Static Control’s General Sales Manager – Components, was pleased with the turnout. “We’re pleased to have another successful Paperworld finished! We look forward to attending this event every year because we know how important it is for both customers and the industry,” said Grimes. “We had great conversations with our customers about their current business needs along with catching up with industry veterans on the latest happening in the industry.”

Other most recent news include that Static Control has been announced as an approved supplier for the International Business Products Inc. (IBPI) group. Static Control’s premium line of toner and inkjet cartridges is now available to the 450+ members of IBPI.

“We are excited about our approval as an IBPI Partner and how it will benefit IBPI members,” said Josh Braendle, Static Control’s Vice President of Business Development. “Members will have direct access to Static Control’s full line of compatible, remanufactured and Lexmark IP Compliant cartridges, along with some member-only benefits that will help dealers add margin to their bottom line. We are looking forward to working with the entire IBPI team and its members and continuing our growth across the dealer channel.”

Mark Grice, Executive Director at IBPI, said: “We are very excited to welcome Static Control as our newest Partner. We are always looking for companies that will add to the value of our Membership and we expect Static Control will start providing that value immediately.”

IBPI is a buying group in the office equipment industry. Their membership is composed of over 450 commercial copier and print dealers located throughout the United States and Canada. Since 1987, IBPI has built a reputation, based upon bringing buying power to dealers. Members get discounted pricing from vendors and a rebate check every year based on their purchases.
