Following the return to work at Ninestar following the Wuhan centred coronavirus outbreak on 10 February the company moves to reassure its global customer network that packages from China are safe.

As part of its announcement Ninestar also reassured customers that parcels and packages received from China are safe. “All our finished goods will be disinfected before shipment,” the company said. “On the other hand, according to World Health Organisation (WHO), coronavirus does not survive long on objects or packages. Therefore, receiving packages from China is safe,” Ninestar added.

Ninestar was one of the first companies in Zhuhai to gain the local governments approval to resume work on 10 February and the number of office and production worker s returning to work is increasing.

“To fight against the coronavirus outbreak and to resume normal production as fast as possible, Ninestar has rolled out active precaution measures such as providing protective mask for employees, daily body temperature check and track, ensuring common areas e.g. offices, warehouses, workshops are disinfected daily and etc.” Ninestar commented.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) began in December in Wuhan. At that time the Chinese government implemented immediate and strict measures to combat the spread of the virus including extending the Chinese New Year Holiday period.
