KMP tackles COVID-19

In a statement to customers, KMP answers questions on supply chain and how the company has implemented changes to cope with the current pandemic.

KMP AG in its statement is looking to answer what it describes as “daily core questions” about material supply, production and supply to its customers.

The remanufacturer said: “We are happy to be able to answer these questions with “Yes” today, even though we are not immune to restrictions either. Apart from niche products, we are generally available for delivery in the core range.

“The understandable border controls only result in delays in delivery traffic and consequently also in production and shipping. Our suppliers have so far not reported any failures; we are currently not limited in terms of production and shipping.

“With a view to possible bottlenecks, we ask you as a customer for larger orders, which we can deliver in partial quantities. In our experience, this would be the best way to ensure that the KMP products are available at the required time.”

Further measures include extra hygiene measures that apply to delivery traffic, travel for employees has been halted and outside visitors are currently restricted to essentials. Rooms are cleaned and ventilated regularly.
