CIG reviews collection arm

Clover Imaging Group (CIG) said that in January 2020, the collections part of the Clover business, Clover Environmental Solutions (CES) was centralised at its facility in Germany – Clover Germany GmbH.

This integration of CES into Clover Imaging Group (CIG), established the Collecture brand as Clover’s empty collection programme across EMEA, and its German facility in Etteheim as a WEEE certified First Treatment facility.

CIG said: “This centralisation of the Clover businesses was a logical one. CIG has grown into the largest remanufacturer of printer cartridges globally with manufacturing facilities in United States, Mexico, Asia, and Europe (Serbia).”

CIG said that the empty cartridge forms the beginning of its circular economic process, which is cantered around the concept of re-use.

Clover added that it has collected over 436 million cartridges and diverted 206 million kg of material from landfills.
