The company announced new partnerships with Parallel Office and Document Solutions Ltd to deliver digitalisation and service excellence.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd announced its new partnership with Parallel Office and Document Solutions Ltd, to deliver comprehensive Managed Print and Document services, along with the latest digitalisation tools. Konica Minolta said that the partnership has a particular focus on helping SME customers that have found themselves neglected by other providers, particularly since the challenges of the UK lockdown earlier this year.

Gavin Auckland, Managing Director and Founder of Parallel Office and Document Solutions Ltd commented: “We are very excited to launch this new partnership with Konica Minolta, which has a deserved reputation for providing the most well rounded of products and solutions. Already, we are astounded by the support from Konica Minolta, which is essential for our new company and has enabled us to accelerate our business plan significantly.”

As the market continues to evolve, Konica Minolta’s digitalisation tools are a major draw for the partnership, as Auckland elaborated: “Workflow solutions, scan archive and retrieval systems, and secure back end document management solutions are all in increased demand as the paperless office becomes a reality. Accelerated demand for Remote Working tools has simply skipped the inevitable forward a few years, making the market a lot more receptive to progressive technology, which is an exciting development for our growing customer base and market.”

Based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, Middlesex, the team at Parallel Office and Document Solutions Ltd brings 20 years of Managed Print and Document Services experience to this recently established business. The company prides itself on catering for a growing number of SME customers, across the south east of England and beyond, who are struggling to get the support they need following the pandemic and subsequent challenges of continued social distancing in the new normal.

Auckland added: “I have spoken to end users who have struggled to even get toner since the pandemic, so together with Konica Minolta, our mission is to deliver the right products and best service to these important customers. Although things have undoubtedly changed, there is business out there for providers that are progressive, flexible and reliable – developing and maintaining an excellent reputation and customer loyalty are the key to future growth.”

Neil Hamilton, UK Channel Development Manager at Konica Minolta also commented: “We are delighted to be partnering and supporting Parallel Office and Document Solutions Ltd as it continues to grow and flourish. In these uncertain times, customers need an agile response and service from people, not just a process. As a hungry young company of proven professionals, Gavin and his team are perfectly placed to deliver quality products and impressive old-school customer service to boot.”

Auckland concluded: “Launching a successful business requires support and we know Konica Minolta will always enthusiastically assist us and our customers. Locally, and across the UK, there are plenty of opportunities in the market for us as partners, and we are proud to be working together to deliver the service and support that the market really needs – the sky is the limit!”

On a final note, Cameron Mitchell, Partner Channel Business Unit Leader at Konica Minolta Cameron also commented: “Konica Minolta are delighted to welcome Gavin & Parallel to the Konica Minolta Partner community. As the document market continues to consolidate and transform, we are seeing a new generation of partner emerge with a fresh outlook. We look forward to supporting Parallel on its exciting journey.”
