Canon said that the three new MegaTank printers are ideal for high-volume printing environments such as home offices or classrooms.

Canon U.S.A., Inc., announced three additions to the family of PIXMA G-series MegaTank printers: the PIXMA G3260 MegaTank Wireless all-in-one printer, PIXMA G2260 MegaTank all-in-one printer, and PIXMA MegaTank G1220 single-function printer.

“Convenience, ease-of-use and reliability are essential for people who are working or distance-learning from home,” said Tatsuro “Tony” Kano, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Canon U.S.A.’s Imaging Technologies & Communications Group. “The family of PIXMA G-Series MegaTank printers can help ease the printing experience for employees and students who are away from their office or school and dependent on high-quality printing for their day-to-day tasks.”

Each of these PIXMA G-series MegaTank printers features a front-facing, built-in refillable ink tank system. The new ink bottles do not require the user to squeeze the bottles to fill the ink tanks, and fill-up stops when the tank becomes full. The black ink provides up to 6,000 black and white pages per bottle, and the colour ink bottles combined provide up to 7,700 colour pages.

The PIXMA G3260 and PIXMA G2260 printers deliver print speeds of up to 10.8 images per minute (ipm) in black and white (B/W) and 6.0 ipm in colour. The PIXMA G1220 printer offers print speeds of up to 9.1 ipm in B/W and 5.0 ipm in colour. Both the PIXMA G3260 and G2260 MegaTank all-in-one Printers provide users with the option to print, copy and scan, and feature a 2-line mono LCD screen.

The PIXMA G3260 printer is equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities, and users can now dictate print commands through the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant enabled smart speaker devices. By using a compatible smartphone and the Canon PRINT app, users can access PIXMA Cloud Link to print photos and documents from popular online social platforms and services, such as Facebook, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive.

All of these new PIXMA G-Series MegaTank printers support PosterArtist Lite V3.X software.

In Europe, Canon Europe announced the PIXMA TS3440 Series, the latest in Canon’s PIXMA TS range of entry-level inkjet printers.

These new printers come with improved Web Setup Guide which offers easy to understand videos and imagery, for step-by-step instructions to get started; while the one-touch Wireless Connect button instantly links the printer with a smart device, PC or laptop when connected to Wi-Fi.

Users can access core printer functions and maintenance, including checking printing status and paper size. Save power with the Auto Power mode, which automatically starts printing from a powered down state and is accessible from home or remotely.

Compatible with FINE and FINE XL cartridges for higher paper yields, the PIXMA TS3440 Series requires fewer ink changes, minimising waste and additional spend. The hybrid ink system, which employs both dye and pigment-based inks in tandem, allows for vivid colour and sharp text, perfect for printing detailed teaching materials. The printer also delivers crisp imagery with borderless photo printing up to 5×7”, with 4×6” photos printing in just 65 seconds1 on high-quality Glossy Photo Paper, so users can bring their memories to life.

To ensure users are never caught out with empty ink cartridges, the PIXMA TS3440 Series supports Easy Ink Delivery Reminders which sends email notifications when running low on ink and links to genuine Canon cartridge replacements, available to order straight to the door.
