EOS upgrades ISO certification

Environmental Office Solutions (EOS) announced it has upgraded to the latest ISO 45001:2018 certification.

Environmental Office Solutions, Inc. an R2 Certified recycler headquartered in East Hartford, CT, specialising in collecting, inspecting, testing and reselling print cartridges and small consumer electronic devices (cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.) for remanufacturing and refurbishment, has achieved the upgrade to the latest ISO 45001:2018 standard for Occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems.

The upgraded certification applies to both the East Hartford headquarters and its Colorado facility.

EOS COO, Terry Stoddard said: “EOS has been committed to R2 since our original certification in 2012. The upgrade to the new standard in September 2020 reaffirms our commitment to R2 and its principals of the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of electronic products.”

Founded in 1996 by Chris Stoddard and Mark Tosi, Environmental Office Solutions (EOS) provides custom-tailored, comprehensive, closed-loop recycling and end-of-life asset recovery programmes for large corporations and small businesses alike, federal, state and municipal governments as well as educational institutions of all sizes.

EOS is headquartered in a 40,000+ square-foot recycling facility located in East Hartford, Connecticut with an additional 40,000+ square-foot recycling, warehouse and distribution facility in Colorado.
