Where have all the Epson listings gone?

Hardly a day goes by without Canon announcing that another Amazon listing bites the dust. But more subtly, The Recycler understands that Epson has joined the Amazon take down challenge in recent weeks.

The Recycler has been briefed that Epson has been active on Amazon to take down listings of compatible cartridges. The alleged infringements are against Epson’s patent number EP 1 247 651, concerning inkjet cartridges.

We understand that Amazon reseller accounts have been locked and listings have been taken down and although it is unclear how many exactly, first reports estimated 300+ were taken off and only a few days later another 200 were estimated to have disappeared from the online retail platform.
