Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH took over all company shares in ITpoint AG on 12 March 2021.
In the coming years, both companies said they are planning to expand their existing range of services and the nationwide service and sales network throughout Switzerland. The ITpoint services are to be gradually developed into a strategic business area of ??Sharp.
The investment in ITpoint is an important step for Sharp, the company said. It is a part of the international investment and growth strategy in Europe. “Switzerland is an important market for us in Europe. Thanks to the partnership with ITpoint, we will be able to offer our customers even more extensive services from a single source, both here and internationally, and respond more specifically to individual requests,” said Alexander Hermann, President Sharp Information Systems Europe.
