123inkt.nl has been voted the cheapest provider of private label and original ink cartridges and toners.
Throughout the past year, De Consumentenbond has compared prices of toners and ink cartridges. 123inkt.nl has again been voted the cheapest online store for toners and ink cartridges.
Now that the vast majority of the Netherlands is working from home, sales of toners and ink cartridges have increased significantly, 123inkt.nl commented. This means there is less choice when buying a printer and you often end up at expensive stores. With some providers you pay more for a set of ink cartridges than the printer itself. The Consumers’ Association therefore thought it was time for a check-up and compared ink prices from 19 different web shops, such as electronics stores, drugstores, discount stores, specialty stores, bookstores and department stores.
The study compared prices of original and private label toners and cartridges. The cheapest provider was 123inkt.nl with an average price level of 82% compared to the average price level. The webshop leaves names such as Coolblue, Mediamarkt and Replacedirect far behind.
The Consumers ‘Association explained: “A private label can be an excellent alternative to the expensive original ink cartridges from the printer manufacturers. This allows you to save an average of about 50% compared to original cartridges.”
In the 2019 price poll, 123inkt.nl was also the cheapest.
