The upgrade is for replacement drum units for use in various Kyocera ECOSYS devices.
The upgrade includes a new long life OPC which enables the remanufactured drum unit to print 120,000 pages. The drum units are for use in Kyocera ECOSYS M2040dn/M2540dw/M2635dw/M2135dn and M2735dw/M2640idw/P2040dw/P2235dw devices.
HYB said about the upgrade: “The laboratory approved new long-life OPC has been used to rebuild the HYB-DK-1150UG drum units. With the upgraded configuration, the HYB-DK-1150UG Drum unit went through a life testing with estimated yield of 120,000 pages in ECOSYS M2040 machines.”
With the long-life OPC, HYB-DK-1150UG drum units have reached almost four times the page yields.
