Canon continues with Amazon removal requests

The OEM requested the removal of toner cartridges offered by VaserInk from Amazon Canada, by LXXL and by GREENCYCLE TECH, INC from Amazon USA.

Canon Inc. announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.ca seeking the removal of an Amazon.ca listing for certain toner cartridges sold by VaserInk.

Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CC530A, CC531A, CC532A and CC533A toner cartridges sold by VaserInk via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, namely Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B087FWVGNL, B087FW8B41, B087G2KW8V, B087FV2VQ1, B087G4Q9R5, B087G4YSR7, B087FZN285, B087FR2TR8, B087FYQXHS, B087G6H675, B087GC5JVY, B087FSGTNY, B087FRKW2M, B087FQRF7B, B087FKJW6V, B087FC9DBC, B087F79X3Y, B087FXBJTR, B087FX7B6G, B087FQL5GZ, B087FRKM2H, B087FBS8FM, B087FCK2YV, B087FC1QMK, B087F6BKVJ, B087F4J2VW, B087F7GST1, B087F6PQP1 and B087DSKCQ9.

At the time of this announcement, products sold under the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.ca.

Canon also announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by LXXL for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF218A toner cartridges sold by LXXL via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove LXXL’s listings for those products, namely, LXXL’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B08J45HD5L, B08J43YVJD, B08J3WSYLN, B08HD4967J, B08GCHN9WJ, B087GKPLDG and B0876JGVDP.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified LXXL listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.

Canon also filed an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by GREENCYCLE TECH, INC for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF217A toner cartridges sold by GREENCYCLE TECH, INC via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove GREENCYCLE TECH, INC’s listings for those products, namely, GREENCYCLE TECH, INC’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B07RY25LBS, B07RX14RP9, B07RY2PSNB, B07RXZDJYH, B07RX13JZ3, B07JZ82N4X, B07JZ7X72R, B07JZ5YKCP, B07JZ4RB1Z, B07JZ4NW38, B07JYVM52M, B07JYVFNBY, B07JY9F85P and B07JY9CKTV.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified GREENCYCLE TECH, INC listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
