Konica Minolta (UK) appoints new CTO

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd announced the appointment of Mike Faiers as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

The company said that Faiers will play a crucial role in strengthening Konica Minolta’s leading position in digital workplace technology, which includes areas such as data, analytics, and cloud-based services. He will be working with the company’s European and Global operations to will ensure Konica Minolta’s technologies and services are rapidly delivered to UK customers and partners.

Reflecting upon his new position, Faiers commented: “I am proud to be joining Konica Minolta at this exciting juncture. We have the right technology, professional expertise, and service support to meet the exacting needs of organisations at every stage of their digital transformation.”

With a career blending 20 years’ worth of technical, digital, marketing, and commercial experience, Faiers brings a track record of success to the role. Having repeatedly been placed inside Top 50 UK IT leaders lists, Faiers has extensive experience in building and leading high performing teams, to deliver digital and technical transformation at every level of an organisation.

With a career starting in a managed IT service provider, Faiers moved into the automotive industry with Audi where he led the ground-breaking introduction of the Audi R8 supercar into the UK market. A programme that transformed the entire product introduction and delivery process for the global brand.  Faiers most recently has held the role of Director of IT and eBusiness at BSH UK & Ireland where he was responsible for the leadership, strategy, and daily operations of all digital & IT functions.
