Marco has been named Official Business IT Partner of The Big Ten Conference.

The Big Ten has teamed up with Marco Technologies in a partnership that features Marco as the Official Business IT Partner of the Big Ten Conference, as well as a marketing partner of the Big Ten Network.

This includes the Big Ten Football Championship Game on 4 December at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament, Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, Big Ten Men’s Hockey Tournament and regular season men’s basketball games.

“Marco Technologies and their deep knowledge of the Big Ten Conference makes for an ideal partnership,” said Jack Brown, Vice President of ad sales at the Big Ten Network. “We are thrilled Marco has come on board and will be utilising a multi-platform approach to support our conference, schools, network and millions of Big Ten fans around the world.”

Established in 1896, the Big Ten Conference is recognised as one of intercollegiate sports’ most successful undertakings. The Big Ten strives for success from its students not only on the field and in the classroom, but around the world as well. Big Ten programmes have combined to win more than 450 team and 1,800 individual national championships, consistently taking home individual honours for athletic and academic accomplishments.

“It’s exciting to be aligned with the Big Ten Conference, which has an impact on and off the field, court and rink in communities we serve across our 12-state footprint,” said Dawn Zimmerman, Marco’s Chief Marketing Officer. “As the business technology partner of the Big Ten, we appreciate the opportunity to help more organisations optimise their IT and security to position their teams for success.”

The partnership with the Big Ten Conference will enable Marco to connect with fans through a variety of platforms. “More than 125 years after its inception, the Big Ten remains a national leader in intercollegiate athletics, and Marco is proud to be a corporate sponsor,” Zimmerman said. “Marco recognises the scope and dedication of the Big Ten fan base, and tying our brand with the Big Ten provides an exciting opportunity to connect with fans at the games and watching from home.”
