Ricoh has been re-appointed as a supplier for Procurement for Housing’s (PfH) Print and Digital Communication Solutions Framework, providing an extended range of solutions to support digital transformation across the housing sector and the wider public sector.

Ricoh have been a PfH Framework supplier since 2016, providing quality products and services that give UK housing associations, ALMOs and local authorities the tools they need to operate smoothly and efficiently. Ricoh will not only continue as a supplier on Lot 2 Print Devices and Associated Services for the framework, but as part of the tender have been successful in achieving a sole supplier position for Lot 3 Total Print Solutions.

For the first time, PfH will have a single contract from one supplier for all elements of digital communication. As the sole supplier of Lot 3 for the Framework, Ricoh has a scope of solutions across digital communications, enabling the all-encompassing examination of how communication happens and the ability to adjust, refine, and replace current models to include digital workflows and repositories for housing sector organisations.

As a Lot 2 supplier, Ricoh provides Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) and associated software, such as print management solutions and scanning applications. Lot 3 combines the external (off-site) provision of print, such as print on demand or hybrid mail, with the internal print contract focussed around MFDs and software; this can include Print on demand (off-site), Hybrid Mail on-site or printed off-site, Digital Mail Room on or off-site, back archive scanning, software to control MFDs, AV meeting room solutions and more.

The PfH Framework is available to PfH’s members, which is made up of social housing providers and across the UK, as well as ALMOs and local authorities. The framework provides a compliant route to market without the need to engage in a full tender process. It will continue to support organisations as they adapt to a hybrid workplace.

Keith Stevenson, Public Sector National Account Director at Ricoh UK, said: “Ricoh has been a proud supplier and supporter for PfH’s framework for several years now. We’re delighted to not only continue this partnership, but extend its scope, becoming the sole supplier of Lot 3 solutions.

“This will allow us to provide a redesigned document workflow, which is essential for the post-pandemic world, where there is less dependency on physical devices and output and increasing demand for a blend on physical and digital process providing optimal performance in a hybrid workplace. The housing sector has a need to be both compliant with regulation and agile in its approach to transformation. This framework facilitates both outcomes.”

Andrea Dickaty, Procurement Manager (PfH), said: “The latest iteration of our Print Management Framework not only delivers a continued service of external and internal print from a choice of suppliers across Lots 1 & 2, but for the first time allows for a single contract from one supplier for all elements of digital communication on Lot 3. We have awarded Lot 3 to Ricoh as they have demonstrated in their tender submission that they have products, services and expertise to work with customers to optimise their communication methods for both cost and productivity.”
