In a new blog, Cartridge World UK talks about another new firmware update relating to HP’s M282 series printers.
The company has learned that the new firmware update causes issues with recognition of aftermarket chips giving a “Non-HP chip detected” error message. Cartridge Wolrd says that it has seen issues with the following cartridges:

W2212A EMEA 20220729
W2213A EMEA 20220729
W2210X EMEA 20220729
At the moment, Cartridge World advises users to guard against future releases of firmware by saying “NO” to installing firmware updates and switch off automatic firmware updates.
