Toshiba America Business Solutions announced that it has launched 12 Office Collection 3 next-gen multifunction printers (MFPs).

Newly introduced was the Toshiba’s e-STUDIO 6525AC series, featuring seven models, and e-STUDIO 6528A series, with five models. Toshiba explained that the e-STUDIO6525AC series MFPs produce full-colour presentations at up to 65 pages per minute. The company’s e STUDIO6528A series are monochrome devices.

Stapling and saddle stitch (producing up to 60-page booklets) finishing options within Toshiba’s ledger-size (A3) MFPs are part of the new series. Featuring a 1,200-page standard capacity and an expansive maximum paper capacity of 5,200 pages with optional paper handling accessories, Toshiba’s systems can produce materials for virtually any size task.

The MFPs’ full-colour and tilting 10.1-inch tablet-style user interface (UI) simplifies print management by enabling core functions and workflow solutions through Toshiba’s Elevate platform.

A high-speed, high-capacity dual-side document feeder with double feed detection enables more time savings by scanning up to 240 impressions per minute. The Toshiba systems’ fault-tolerant elements, which are conducive for hybrid work environments, moreover, improve uptime, the company explained. Several embedded scanning applications, which utilize optical character recognition (OCR) – standard on these models – further facilitate user productivity.

Toshiba’s newest line includes security features including Trusted Platform Module 2.0. This design element comprises the latest hardware-based security utilising upgraded cryptographic keys to safeguard all data on Toshiba MFPs. Built-in anti-malware further protects the company’s MFPs from viruses, ransomware, spyware, rogue software and more.

Biometric (fingerprint) authentication offers yet another layer of protection. The Federal Information Processing Standards 140-2 Validated Self-Encrypting drive option additionally safeguards Toshiba e-STUDIO products and user information. This drive meets the highest government security compliance standards including the Hard Copy Device – Protection Profile (HCD-PP).

Toshiba’s MFPs utilise the company’s following cloud technologies:

  • e-BRIDGE Global Print
  • e-BRIDGE CloudConnect
  • e-BRIDGE Remote Assist
  • e-BRIDGE Remote Diagnostic Tool

“Businesses are continually seeking innovative ways to operate more efficiently and effectively,” stated Toshiba America Business Solutions Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Business Development, Bill Melo. “Toshiba’s new A3 multifunction printers help businesses quickly and securely print, scan and copy through either the company network or the cloud.”

Pricing begins at $8,199 (€8,255) for the e-STUDIO6525AC series and $10,849 (€10,922) for the e-STUDIO6528A Series. The new Toshiba systems are available for purchase via authorised Toshiba resellers.
