PaperCut ranked #1 in recent IDC report

IDC has once again ranked PaperCut Software at number one for market share in its recently published IDC, Worldwide and U.S. Device and Print Management Market Shares, 2021 report.

PaperCut emphasised that its performance is all the more impressive given that the market as a whole, experienced declining revenues in 2021 with the overall market declining by 4.6% versus 2020. The key factors behind the declines are the prolonged after-effects of the pandemic, supply chain challenges and chip shortages for MFD vendors, alongside the wide-scale move to hybrid working.

Commenting on the report, Steve Holmes, EMEA Regional Director and General Manager, PaperCut, stated: “Against an extremely turbulent and challenging market landscape, PaperCut is thrilled to maintain its position as the world’s number one print management solution by market share. This performance shows that our long-term commitment to driving sustainability is resonating now more than ever with customers, and that our channel-friendly solutions comprehensively address onsite and hybrid print challenges while making print easy and secure.”

He added: “The most powerful component of our success though, remains our channel partners. Their willingness to embrace the solutions that support how the world prints today, combined with their commitment, focus, specialist knowledge and desire to address their customers’ needs, has played a key role in PaperCut’s position. As we look ahead to a more stable trading environment in 2023, I believe that PaperCut will continue to flourish to the benefit of the business, its channel partners and the customers they support.”
