Integral: On the road to Rio

The German toner manufacturer teamed up with Ducoprint and spent nine days on the road visiting Brazilian distributors.

Earlier this month, German toner manufacturer, Integral teamed up with their biggest distributor, Ducoprint to host several workshops and presentations for customers and partners, to talk toner in Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Jorge do Maranhão, São Paulo and Vitoria.

Each presentation was well supported with the audience a mixture of customers, distributors, guests, and technicians from numerous distributors and major MPS players in Brazil.

According to Sandro Carvalho, Integral’s Area Sales Manager who told The Recycler: “At a time where technology has replaced some old-style proactive customer visits, this was a great opportunity to sit down with our partners face to face, as the market was hungry for some solid practical presence.

The nine day trip with Ducoprint, one of our largest distributors was to solidify our partnership, presence and image in the Brazilian market and also find out – from several end-users, that INTEGRAL is already a synonym of excellence when approaching the high quality compatibles in the Brazilian markets.”   

The visit enabled Integral to discuss technical departments the challenges facing the industry, and how they are adapting to the existing market requirements.

“There is also a major misconception about quality and quantity when purchasing by cartridge volume and not by actual yields. People want the cheapest but end up paying more for low grade toner.

“This served as a journey to increase overall awareness in the market and to promote what values do count in/at our Industry” … “Integral does not compromise on quality”, as cost per page is what really matters, rather than cost per cartridge” Carvalho added.

Integral planned the visit to increment our value by transferring the knowledge to our customers and optimize their costs and minimize technical calls all over the industry. At the same time inform our audience about Integral, the brand value and ethics and represent itself as a knowledge ambassador.

Sandro Carvalho joined Integral two years ago and is currently the Area Sales Manager and Business developer for EMEA & Brazil and has a background in media technology and data science, IT Spare Parts and brokerage.
