The company received the certificate on 25 July 2023.
It has been 10 years since Printlife received one of its first certificates from RAL gGmbH, allowing it to use the “Blue Angel” eco-label as a certificate of special environmental friendliness.
“That was a really big push for the reputation of our products and shows to this day how important sustainable production is to us,” said Managing Director Christian Flögel.
The first certificate was awarded for the Brother HL-2030 compatible with TN-2000 cartridge, which was selling very well at the time. Further certifications followed. “Although this cartridge is now well over 10 years old, it is still in demand. No longer in the same quantities but it will certainly remain an integral part of our product range for a while,” Flögel added.
The Printlife product range has grown since 2013 from around 400 items to around 1200 different items at the moment. The company only sells remanufactured toner cartridges.
