The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) has announced that they will be honouring 40 women and men under the age of 40 of the business community in Somerset County.

Casey Goldstein, Director of Talent Acquisition and Mobility at Brother International Corporation is among those who will be recognised at the 2023 SCBP Annual Meeting on 11 December at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset.

Nominations were accepted for businesspeople, professionals, entrepreneurs, elected officials, and community leaders whose successes and demonstrations of strong leadership have gone above and beyond within their jobs, families, and community organisations. Nominees were evaluated for their commitment to business growth and development, professional excellence, leadership, achievements and community service.

“Now that we have emerged from the pandemic, the millennial generation and now Gen Zers are being counted on to assume more and more leadership positions within the business community. We hope that this event can be a forum to recognize some of those leaders,” said SCBP President & CEO, Chris Edwards.

Throughout his tenure at Brother, Casey has worked under several organisational divisions, most recently transitioning to HR where he has achieved record hiring results. “I’m honoured to be among those celebrated this year,” said Casey. “And I appreciate Brother for providing me the opportunities to advance in my career.”

Despite transitioning to HR during the height of the Great Resignation, Casey spearheaded several projects to position Brother as an employer of choice, including a new referral policy that strengthened the talent pipeline for the Talent Acquisition team.

“Casey is an exceptional professional who has made significant contributions to Brother,” said Don Cummins, President, Brother International Corporation. “His versatile skillset and unwavering commitment to excellence has positioned him as a rising star in the organization.”

In addition to his work in HR, Casey serves as the Operations Chair of the Brother LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Spectrum, where he has made a significant impact on promoting diversity and fostering a supportive work environment.
