Ricoh has opened a new state-of-the-art flagship facility in Warsaw, Poland, to support the growth of its round the clock support to customers across the globe.

The 3,600 sq. ft. (335 sqm) DOC (Digital Operations Centre) is now fully operational and is a market leading facility for Ricoh to provide remote managed service support and monitor, protect and resolve security incidents for customers around the globe.

The Centre is occupied by a team of highly specialised experts with a range of diverse skills, including engineers, data architects, security, and cloud operators. Since the creation of a digital services hub in Poland five years ago, the remote managed services team has increased from 14 to 140 employees and now serves over 600 customers internationally.

The services the DOC provides for customers include:

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Managed Services to proactively monitor, manage and support mission critical customer infrastructure – whether that’s physical devices located in offices, or cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Service Desk for round the clock technical support via multiple channels.
  • End User Computing (EUC) Managed Services – delivering proactive management and support for end-user devices and digital workplace applications.

Alberto Mariani, Chief Digital Investment Officer at Ricoh Europe, said: “In this modern technological world, it is absolutely vital that we provide an ‘always on’ service to our customers. The opening of this new state-of-the-art centre shows how we are continuing to evolve our business to offer our customers comprehensive service management that makes them feel supported and secure – anywhere, anytime.”

Ricoh recently announced the opening of a new Digital Experience Centre in Birmingham, UK, highlighting its continued investment in the expansion of its digital services to support its transformation to a leading value-added workspace integrator.
