123inkt.nl has reached agreement on the acquisition of Staples Benelux.
The company called it a “strategic acquisition”, saying that the strategic acquisition enriches 123inkt.nl’s knowledge in the office supplies market, allowing the organisation to take the next step in realising its growth ambitions.
After Staples Benelux’s recent bankruptcy, this acquisition will ensure that the company will continue. 123inkt.nl confirmed that the employment has now been secured and customers will be supplied again.
Gerben Kreuning, Owner and Founder of 123inkt.nl: “As a total supplier of office supplies, facility products and furniture for business customers, Staples is a valuable addition to our organization and will certainly contribute to our further growth and development. We will use the coming months to ensure that Staples is properly integrated into our organization.”
Staples Benelux’s business activities will be started immediately, so that Staples customers can again order via the existing links and the website. Delivering orders is therefore possible again.
The transaction is still subject to approval from the ACM.
