Sharp donates to relief efforts in Japan

The company has announced aid for the areas and people affected by the 2024 Noto peninsula earthquake.

Sharp Group announced the donation of a total ¥20 million ($137,558/ €125,292) in addition to collecting donations from its employees. Special repairment service for affected Sharp products is also available for those residing in the area applicable to this time’s Disaster Relief Act.

The company said: “Sharp would like to express its deepest sympathy to all the people afflicted by the 2024 Noto peninsula earthquake.

“We sincerely pray for a restoration of the affected area as early as possible.”
