The Technology Centre will be used as a facility for showcasing machine tools as well as holding various seminars and conducting service support activities for customers.

Brother Industries, Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, BROTHER MACHINERY SHANGHAI LTD., has established a new Technology Centre in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the People’s Republic of China, which is its fifth Technology Centre in China with a machine tool showroom.

Brother has established five facilities in Japan and 10 overseas called Technology Centres, which house showrooms to display machine tools, host various seminars, and conduct service support activities. In 2019, Brother established a sales facility in Nanjing with the aim of strengthening sales activities in Jiangsu Province and neighboring Anhui Province.

However, in order to accommodate the subsequent spread of industries centred on those related to automobiles from coastal areas to inland areas, and the accompanying increase in demand for machine tools, Brother decided to establish a new Technology Centre with a showroom in place of the sales facility. This is Brother’s fifth Technology Centre in China, following Shanghai, Dongguan, Chongqing, and Ningbo.

Six models of the SPEEDIO series (W1000Xd2, M300Xd1-5AX, U500Xd1, H550Xd1, S700Zd1, and R450Xd1) are on display at the Technology Centre, and customers can bring their own parts for the demonstration of their machining.

The Technology Centre will be used to strengthen service support activities, and to promote the high productivity of Brother’s machine tools to customers through the display of the machines and demonstration of parts machining.
