Brother Industries, Ltd. announced that it has completed the construction of Factory 3 of its manufacturing subsidiary, BROTHER INDUSTRIES (PHILIPPINES), INC.

BROTHER INDUSTRIES (PHILIPPINES) is a manufacturing facility established in 2012 and manufactures printers, All-in-Ones, and labelling systems, as well as consumables. Since its establishment, the company has increased its manufacturing capacity in line with the expansion of the Brother Group’s printing business.

To prepare for further increases in product sales, Brother Industries decided to build Factory 3.

Factory 3 will be capable of manufacturing various types of products and will be able to flexibly respond to future changes in the business environment. In addition, as a BCP measure, the factory will also serve as a warehouse for storing parts and products, enabling manufacturing and shipments for a certain period of time in the event of risks in logistics operations.

Furthermore, the factory will generate electricity from solar panels installed on the roof, making part of the electricity used in the factory supplied by renewable energy sources and thereby contributing to achieving carbon neutrality across all business operations as stated in the Brother Group Environmental Vision 2050.
