LD Products have written a blog aimed at helping readers choose the right printer for use at home. Amidst an ever-growing field of options, the piece seeks to enlighten you as to whether or not “you’re buying a printer that truly has your best interests in mind.”
The blog begins with a selection of questions to ask yourself prior to purchase: The first is, what kind of printing will you be doing? The Epson Expression Photo XP-8500, meanwhile, is listed as the best photo inkjet printer, “offering attractive, full colour photo prints and print/scan/copy options at a compelling price.” The blog also highlights the XP-8500’s SD card and USB drive as “a nice added feature”, calling it “perfect for printing quick, computer-free photos.”
The best monochrome laser printer is recommended to be the Brother HL-L6200DW, which the blog describes as cost-effective and efficient for those with “strictly monochrome printing needs.” LD Products add that “all things considered, this is a reliable little workhorse.”
Finally, it declares the HP LaserJet Pro M180nw as the best colour laser printer available, “a smart buy for any home office” and “a worthy addition to your home office arsenal.”
Overall, LD Products’ advice is to consider a multitude of factors when choosing – such as operating costs, rather than just purchase price – and to take time to work out exactly what you want from your printer. If you do, the blog concludes, “you’ll end up with a machine that’s a perfect fit for your home.”
