The 3D printer brand will be introduced to the island nation’s market by provider JKOA.

John Keells Office Automation (JKOA), the Sri Lankan office automation solutions provider, has unveiled its latest innovation to the local market: The 3D printer brand XYZprinting.

The Sri Lankan Daily Mirror reports that XYZprinting prides itself on making 3D printing both accessible and affordable to the public, and claims it has “broken down the barriers of 3D printer ownership” with its provision of easy-to-use devices to classrooms, SMB companies, and households across the world.

The brand’s products which JKOA will henceforth offer include many from the daVinci range: The daVinci 3D Pen is a standalone device allowing users to create 3D objects or doodles without a computer or similar design software, whilst the daVinci Colour is a full-colour FFF inkjet 3D printer; the daVinci MiniMaker and Mini WiFi, meanwhile, are described as “introductory, plug play 3D printers for beginners”, whereas the 1.0A is an intermediate printer for professionals, and the 2.0A DUO  is similar, but with two printheads, allowing two materials and/or colours to print simulatenously.

Besides the daVinci range, JKOA will also now offer the XYZprinting’s Nobel 1.0A and Nobel Superfine, advanced high resolution 3D printers for printing with delicate detail, and the 3D Scanner pro, which is described as “the most versatile, lightweight, and affordable 3D scanner on the market” at present.

Dinukshi Kirthisinghe, JKOA’s Product Manager, said: “The introduction of the innovative XYZprinting 3D printer brand to Sri Lanka is a landmark event, enabling new horizons to open up for the local industry. Whatever preconceived notions you had about the capabilities of printers to date, be prepared for them to be shattered. With XYZprinting products, you now have a whole new, boundless world of creativity accessible to you.”
