The OEM’s hybrid copier has scooped a fifth innovation award in six years for the company.

Toshiba’s hybrid copier, the e-STUDIO 4508LP, has been named the winner of Better Buys’ 2018 Innovative Product of the Year Award, for the best monochrome copier.

The OEM’s copier is the first of its kind, with the capability to produce both standard and erasable black prints, due to its use of erasable toner, offering more efficiency and sustainability to organisations using it. Better Buys also praised its value for money and feature set.

Editor Melissa Pardo-Bunte said: “We’ve selected the Toshiba e-STUDIO4508LP as an Innovative Product of the Year simply because it’s the most innovative copier Toshiba has engineered to date. We especially want to recognize its unique erasable toner technology, saving organizations money while also reducing their carbon footprint.”

The honour is the fifth occasion in the last six years that Toshiba has won an Innovative Product of the Year Award from Better Buys, whilst its companion hybrid copier, the e-STUDIO 3508LP, was recently granted the 2018 Outstanding Achievement in Innovation Award by Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab.

“We are very thankful to Better Buys for presenting us with its Innovative Product of the Year award,” said the OEM’s chief marketing executive, Bill Melo. “Toshiba customers throughout the world have come to appreciate the significant environmental and efficiency benefits our hybrid copier provide.”
