The OEM’s Darren Cassidy has been honoured by CRN’s annual rundown of the “elite” channel chiefs.

Xerox President Darren Cassidy has been named amongst the 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs of 2018 in the annual list published by CRN.

The list is selected by CRN’s editorial staff, and represents “an elite group” drawn from a wider pool of Channel Chief honourees, all of whom were chosen based on their professional achievements, industry standing, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies and ideas for driving growth and innovation in the future.

Cassidy was honoured due to his overseeing of the revamp of the Xerox Document Technology Programme, which expanded the portfolio on offer to channel partners, so that it includes production-class printers and other high-end products. He was also commended for “introducing an MPS Accreditation programme to give partners more access to Xerox tools and programmes,” and for taking steps to increase sales, support, and professional service opportunities to the OEM’s partners.
