DocPath improves PrintServices module

The manufacturer has made several enhancements to its previously-released software.

DocPath, the document software manufacturer, has implemented improvements to its PrintServices module, which offers “an agile, efficient and integrated system for saving toner and ink, remote and mobile printing, and maximum print process optimisation,” among other features.

The improvements to the module include a set of features that the company says will “further facilitate management and enable a more customised application of configured print options.” They include: New icons and descriptive texts, said to enhance the user experience; easier searches, via the grouping of notifications by type; automated application of toner and ink saving policies, via the Web interface; “complete integration” with DocPath’s PrintApp remote printing solution; and new divisions and offices concepts in the Web interface, to simulate the differing offices, divisions, or departments that a company may have.

DocPath says it has also enhanced printing speed, toner saving support, and auto-restoration support, as well as providing automatic and programmed updates of statistical data and/or printer configuration; enhanced communication protocol between module components; and a user-specified time limit, with automatic deactivation of non-operational printers.

“DocPath’s enhanced PrintServices document software module will undoubtedly prove a major asset to any organization that has turned to DocPath to address the challenge of modernizing, managing and optimizing the print processes of its business documents while reducing costs and increasing productivity,” said a company statement.
