Further to its recent creditors meeting, two notices have been published revealing the next stages of the company’s insolvency proceedings.

The first notice, posted on The Gazette, was regarding the appointment of the liquidators. They were named as Philippa Smith and Kate Elizabeth Breese, both of Oxford Chambers in Leeds. The date of their appointment was given as 4 April 2018, and they were selected by Excess Toner Buyer’s members and creditors.

The second notice gave the company’s resolutions for winding up, which were laid out at the same general meeting of the members of Excess Toner Buyer during which the liquidators were appointed.

The two resolutions read as follows:

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the meeting that the Company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that the Company is wound up voluntarily” and “That Philippa Smith and Kate Elizabeth Breese of Walsh Taylor, Oxford Chambers, Oxford Road, Guiseley, Leeds LS20 9AT, provisionally be appointed Joint Liquidators of the Company for the purposes of the voluntary winding-up pending the decision date of the liquidation at 4:15 pm on 4 April 2018.”
