Lexmark has revealed that it will feature the new line of RFID colour laser printers and multifunction printers (MFPs) with RFID programming at RFID Journal LIVE! 2018, in Booth 1148, 10-12 April 2018 at the Orlando County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida.

“With the announcement of the Lexmark RFID Laser Printer for Manufacturing solution, we’ve seen increased interest from customers who are seeking to print, program and customize RFID labels and tags from a single colour laser MFP device,” said John Linton, Industry Director, Manufacturing/Distribution, Lexmark. “RFID Journal LIVE is the perfect venue for us to connect with those customers who want maximize process efficiencies and streamline manufacturing operations utilising RFID solutions.”

In December 2017, Lexmark introduced the RFID Laser Printer for Manufacturing, a custom solution that combines the power of Lexmark electronic forms, colour print and specialty media capabilities into an all-in-one label and RFID colour laser MFP. The solution helps eliminate the risk of mismatches between RFID tags and labels and consolidates device management into one robust and reliable RFID-capable colour MFP.

Lexmark has a long history of introducing RFID laser solutions to the marketplace. In 2007, Lexmark introduced the Lexmark T640rn, the world’s first laser printer with RFID programming and verifying capabilities.
