Cartridge World rewards INKredible small businesses

Cartridge World is marking American National Small Business Week with a new competition to celebrate micro-businesses.

‘The INKredible Small Business Contest’ has been launched to mark the week-long event, which runs from the 29th of April to the 5th of May, and is designed to help and recognise small businesses and their successes.

The winners of the contest will see one of its highest business expenses covered by Cartridge World, with the prize of a free printer and a year’s supply of either ink or toner cartridges.

The contest is part of a wider effort by the retailer to educate small businesses as to how much they spend on printing, claiming that “printing costs are the third highest business operating expense.” As well as the competition, it has developed and promoted various solutions to improve efficiency and control print expenses – allowing companies to focus on growing the business.

Mark Pinner, Cartridge World North America’s CEO, explained: “Office printing continuously ranks as a top business expense for most companies and these costs can quickly add up – especially for small businesses. We couldn’t think of a better time of year than National Small Business Week to help eliminate these costs and we are looking forward to crowning one lucky winner.”

To enter, eligible businesses should visit ‘The INKredible Small Business Contest’ website, and explain why their printing is inefficient, or how it could be improved. Cartridge World will then deliberate over the entrants until a winner has been chosen, and will present the champion with its prize of a free printer, specific to its office or business printing needs.

The contest is the latest endeavour by Cartridge World to help small companies, following last year’s launch of the Why Buy A Printer Programme; this allowed businesses to avoid paying for their printers or maintenance thereof, instead paying only for the toner, which enabled the company to provide printing solutions nationwide.

In August 2017, it also launched another competition, entitled ‘Office Printing On The BrINK’, which was designed to help businesses combat wasteful office spending, and again saw the presentation of a free printer and twelve months’ of ink or toner, on this occasion to three winners.

Applicants for ‘The INKredible Small Business Contest’ have until May the 11th to enter, and there is no purchase necessary.
