Lexmark has announced that Better Buys has recognised the Lexmark CX923 Series with its 2018 Innovative Product of the Year award in the high-volumes machines category.

The CX923 Series of devices print up to 65 pages per minute with tabloid-size (12×18”) media handling.

Considered Better Buys’ “best of the best”, the Innovative Products of the Year are selected from among those that earned Better Buys’ Editor’s Choice Awards throughout 2017. Each product is individually evaluated and compared against the competition on a range of criteria, including:

  • Unique features
  • Value to the customer
  • Price

As Lexmark reveals, Better Buys lauds the CX923 Series for its flexible paper-handling configurations, the ColorSaver feature that prints images in a lighter toner setting, and high-yield (34,000-page) aftermarket toner cartridges.

“Lexmark continuously upgrades its devices with faster engines and newer features, and the CX923 Series are no exception,” said Melissa Pardo-Bunte, Editor, Better Buys. “They include strong features and flexible paper-handling designed to help large businesses improve productivity and still save money”.

“Lexmark is proud that Better Buys recognised our CX923 Series as its Innovative Product of the Year in the high-volume machines category,” said Lexmark Chief Technology Officer Allen Waugerman. “We built the CX923 series for customers that need to go big – with larger, tabloid-size pages, above average print speeds, and extraordinary service intervals. And, of course, each is built with the reliability, productivity and security Lexmark customers around the globe have come to expect.”

Lexmark previously won a Better Buys award in 2017 for CX825 series in the colour MFP category.
