The Dubai-based company has announced the extension of its partnership with WWF.

The CEO of German Imaging Technologies (GIT), Dr Sassan Dieter Khatib-Shahidi, has revealed that his company has opted to lengthen its partnership with WWF. He explained that “Impacting people is our core purpose. Every day we directly contribute to waste and CO2 reduction with our reman toners.”

GIT also avows its commitment to sustainability via its company website, where it has published its ‘Six of the Best’ Declaration, explaining that GIT will “always attempt to” educate, disassemble products at the end of their life, minimise waste, recapture anything useful, reuse what is recaptured, and remanufacture what is recaptured.

The company also reveals that, between 2000 and 2015, GIT “saved nearly 1,000 tonnes of toner cartridges from landfills” and also saved approximately 3,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions during the same period.

GIT has been able to report a fruitful 2018 so far; as well as extending its partnership with WWF, the business has also won a prestigious business award, formed a partnership with Canon, and passed an STMC recertification.
