Following the integration of Ringdale’s embedded security device on the OEM’s A4 workgroup MFPs, it has now announced that the technology will also be present on its new generation of machines.

Available across the new A4 colour CS622de Series, CX520 Series, CX620 Series and large workgroup mono MS820e Series, MX720 Series and MX820 Series devices, the FollowMe Embedded product provides enhanced usability, control and secure print management capability to meet the print, copy, and scan needs of an organisation’s head office, branch office and growing mobile workforce.

Ringdale claims that the integrated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities in the FollowMe solution allows organisations to improve productivity and meet their compliance requirements.

“With 57 percent of enterprises predicting an increase in print volume by 2025, providing organisations with the best solution that supports their compliance needs to mitigate against print related breaches is a key priority,” explained Ringdale’s Executive Vice President, Jan Bollman. “By supporting the latest Lexmark devices, we are enabling a seamless customer experience and ensuring those devices are secured and complaint.”

The FollowMe device was first integrated with Lexmark’s MFPs and A3 printers back in September 2017, and was extended earlier this year for the OEM’s latest A4 workgroup MFPs, including the MX420, MX520, and MX620 series.
