Online retailer compares OEM and compatible inks

Inkjets.com, which stocks a wide range of remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges, has conducted a print comparison using OEM inks and Ninestar/G&G compatible ink products.

As the US-based online retailer explains, a remanufactured ink cartridge, including the ones it stocks, are created by “using the shell or case of the original manufacturer cartridge or toner, cleaning it, refilling it with our ink, and then reselling it.”

For the comparison, the company selected 5 genuine Canon cartridges and its own 5-piece combo pack of Ninestar/G&G inks. Inkjets.com used a Canon MX922 printer for the comparison, and the same paper.

They opted for 5 different prints for both OEM and the compatible inks, using two different print settings – standard and high quality.
