US shipments of printing-writing paper fell by 11 percent year-on-year last month, new figures from the American Forest & Paper Association reveal.

As well as this, Lesprom reports that total printing-writing paper inventory levels fell by 3 percent compared to the month before.

Imports of printing-writing papers in July increased year-on-year, however, rising 6 percent, whilst exports fell by 24 percent.

The figures are from the American Forest & Paper Association, which serves to advance a sustainable paper manufacturing industry via fact-based public policy and marketplace advocacy.
