The company’s Recycling Workshops have returned to schools across the Comunitat Valenciana, to coincide with the start of the academic year.

The workshops operate around the framework of ‘Recyle with the Five Senses,’ and are supported by foundations Ecofimatica, Ecoasimelec, and Ecolum. The aim is to raise awareness of recycling, its benefits, its environmental effects, and its part in the fight against climate change.

As part of the workshops, the environmental education team explains “in a simple and entertaining way” the keys to the recycling process.

The Valencian community has also recently played host to the Recycle Your Devices campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the particular important of recycling WEEE, and which is carried out periodically in areas with a highly-concentrated population. As part of the awareness drive, the Generalitat Valenciana, in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development, is hoping to collect a large number of electrical and electronic equipment, “to ensure its proper recycling.”
