Virtulytix has announced the release of its 2018 Global Hardcopy Forecast Series.

As the marketing intelligence and consulting business explains, the 2018 Global Hardcopy Forecast Series provides historical data (2014 to 2017) and forecasts (2018 to 2022) for the global hardcopy markets. Each analysis includes detailed data and graphs in easy to use pivot table formats.

In addition, a PowerPoint presentation providing the assumptions and trend analysis is included with each forecast. In order to make the reports affordable and relevant, Virtulytix says it has segmented the reports by subject (hardware, supplies, media, and MPS), by geography (North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia), and by technology (Laser/EP and InkJet).

Each forecast provides metrics for actual and forecasted unit shipments, growth rates, revenue, average selling price, and installed base.

The Laser and InkJet Hardware Forecast tracks printer and MFP market segments by technology (laser, inkjet), then by product features (colour, monochrome, sing-function or multi-function, speed, and paper size. Supplies forecast provides segments for toner cartridges and ink cartridges and provides additional metrics such as OEM share, cartridge shipments, and revenue for ink and toner.

The 2018 Media Forecast covers segments paper types (Commodity, Value Added, Coated, Photo, and Specialty) for both laser printers and inkjet printers by region and worldwide. The forecast includes data on installed base by printer segment, media usage, tracks pages and sheets by printer segment, and provides both shipment and revenue forecasts.

Finally, the MPS Forecast model provides market size and share, market potential, business segmentation, as well as an OEM Financial Workup, and a Direct and Indirect Split.
