Konica Minolta unveils IT demo centres

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. has announced the launch of eight IT-service Client Experience Centres across Canada.

Located within Konica Minolta branch locations in Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto, these Centres will offer live demonstrations of Konica Minolta’s IT services and technology solutions.

Using a simulated client organisation – dubbed Yeti Capital – Konica Minolta’s IT Services division provides live demonstrations of its IT services and technology solutions within a network environment that replicates the conditions of a fully-functioning workplace. Each Client Experience Centre provides a physical location for clients to visit, and to engage in an interactive experience which showcases the full-range of support and services that Konica Minolta offers.

“Yeti Capital is about showing, not telling,” said Ted Garner, President, IT Weapons, IT Services division of Konica Minolta. “We want people to see exactly how our services can support their business goals, and the best way to do that is to actually see it happen through live demonstrations. Using Yeti Capital as a closed network environment, we’re able to simulate complex IT problems many businesses face, and then demonstrate how our services solve these.”

Acquired in 2015 as IT Weapons, Konica Minolta’s IT Services division has expanded the company’s core service offerings to include end-user IT support, network monitoring and management, cybersecurity, cloud services, and much more.

This year alone, the company’s IT Services division has been recognised by Computer Reseller News (CRN), TechnoPlanet and MSSP Alert, three industry-leading Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) ranking organisations, as a best-performing MSSP in North America.

“Our IT Services division is on the cutting-edge of managed IT services in North America,” said Chris Dewart, President and CEO, Konica Minolta Canada. “The industry recognition our team has garnered so far this year is outstanding. With the establishment of these eight Client Experience Centres, we can now demonstrate why we’ve come to be regarded so highly within the industry and, most importantly, the value we bring to businesses.”

The Client Experience Centres offer live demonstrations which highlight exactly how Konica Minolta is reshaping the Workplace of the FutureTM through innovative services and solutions. All eight Centres are fully operational and the OEM says that interested parties can reach out to Konica Minolta directly to schedule a visit.
