A major Chinese multinational company, specialising in consumer electronics, has revealed a new thermal transfer solution which makes use of Armor inkanto ribbons.

This multinational has four R&D and production facilities in China, explains Armor, and is one of the country’s major corporations. Due to highly automated production processes and a complex supply chain, the company decided to produce a “reliable traceability system for all parts, products and parcels”.

This new thermal transfer solution uses 3 inkanto ribbons, thereby offering a range of specifications, including: compatibility with multiple label materials; the ability to work seamlessly in different thermal printer brands and models; offering perfect barcode scanning and data readability; providing high durability to guarantee traceability despite aggressive production processes or usage conditions; respecting several stringent electronics regulations.

Armor says the following inkanto ribbons have been tested and approved: AXR 7+ standard resin and AXR EL electronics specialty resin ribbon, which can print 200 000 various product labels every day. In addition, APX FH+ wax-resin ribbon is also used for printing storage and logistics labels.

The inkanto range of Thermal Transfer ribbons is perfectly sized to answer 99 percent of labeling needs, says Armor.
