The Paperworld trade show, encompassing the Remanexpo product group, begins this morning, with thousands of visitors expected over the next four days.

A packed schedule is in store for the many thousands of visitors who will pass through the doors of Germany’s Messe Frankfurt between now and Tuesday, with many hundreds of companies set to welcome customers old and new, from all across the globe.

This year sees Remanexpo move from its previous location in Hall 6.0 to the new home of Hall 5.1, which means it will be situated on the Via Mobile level, linked directly to the main thoroughfare of foot traffic, and much easier for the countless visitors expected.

Remanexpo once again features the best and brightest from across the aftermarket industry, including such familiar industry faces such as Static Control, Ninestar, Katun, Apex, Integral, and Data Direct. 2019 also sees the return of multiple companies to Remanexpo after at least a year’s absence, such as Turbon, as well as Frankfurt debutants like IPA PrintService – Tech Intertrading.

Saturday also heralds not only the beginning of Paperworld/Remanexpo overall, but also the first day of The Recycler Live Frankfurt Seminars, the ever-popular seminar programme which offers a whole plethora of thought-provoking talks, discussions, and Q&As over the coming four days. Day One begins with a welcome from host David Connett, before a look at the current state of the European remanufacturing industry, its challenges, and its opportunities. This is followed by wta Carsten Weser’s Zoltan Matyas, who will deliver a seminar on the power of social media to boost the aftermarket’s green credentials, and Owen Collins, of The Recycler, who will explain how to write a successful press release to get your company noticed.

Lightwords Imaging’s Managing Director Peter Mayhew will then guide the audience through the right techniques, tips and tricks needed to conduct your own market research from the comfort of your desktop, before Connett rounds up the first day’s biggest stories.

As well as the opening of the trade show, Saturday also brings the close of voting in The Recycler Awards 2019. The annual ceremony will take place on Sunday evening, and will see multiple honours dispensed, including Remanufacturer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Collector of the Year, as well as the Rising Star and Innovation of the Year awards. If you haven’t yet cast your vote, you only have until midnight tonight – just click here!
