Nekkorb responsible for antipodean MPS

MPS is now represented in both Australia and New Zealand by 10-year-old company, Nekkorb.

As LabelsAndLabeling reports, the choice to make Nekkorb sole MPS representative was driven by “economic growth and a growing number of printing companies with MPS presses in both countries.”

Nekkorb is the brainchild of Frank Brokken, who has over 35 years of industry experience. The company “supplies capital equipment and consumables to the New Zealand and Austraia web printing industries”.

Tim Klappe, Managing Director, MPS Systems Asia, said: ‘Working with one agent in Australia and New Zealand is a strategic choice we had to make. The overlap between the two areas is rapidly increasing: having one MPS agent streamlines communication and provides more clarity for our customers.

‘We have always worked with great pleasure alongside Maxteq, but it was time to make a change in the best interest of our customers. Because of our long-standing relationship with Nekkorb and its installed base both in New Zealand and Australia, we trust it can deliver the best local service and support to label and packaging printers in this combined region.’
