The company has unveiled new replacement chips for use in the Canon imageCLASS D1620/1650 machines.

The replacement chips, which are in a SoC design, promise “consistent performance,” as well as being “easy to install in recycled cartridges.”

They are compatible with black cartridges, and boast a page yield of 5,000 pages.

The Canon imageCLASS D1620/1650 were unveiled by Canon USA earlier this month, with the OEM describing its A4 monochrome MFPs as “ideal for small-to-medium sized workgroups in environments ranging from law firms to purchasing departments to accounting firms.”
