The Colorado-based document management solutions and MPS provider has acquired Denver’s Chess, Inc. and its assets.
LaserCycle USA is based in Louisville, Denver, and provides customers with document management, software and technology solutions, including nationwide Managed Printer Services (MPS). On top of this, the company is also an authorized reseller of printers, MFPs and copiers from OEM brands such as HP, Ricoh, Sharp, Lanier and Savin, offering “expert service and repair of all major brands of copiers, printers and multifunction devices.”
Its new acquisition, Chess, Inc., is also Denver-based, having been founded in 1977 by owners Jody and Lloyd Wilcox. The company sold and serviced printers, MFPs and copiers, providing clients with IT network services, and doing business in the Greater Denver metro market, primarily in the Front Range and counties of Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, El Paso. The company was an authorised Xerox, Lexmark and Okidata dealer, which also serviced other product lines.
The takeover employed the services of Zygoquest’s Mike Dudek and Rich Wisniewski, who served as advisor to Chess. Terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
