The company has promoted its solutions for labels for durable goods with long lifespans.
IIMAK’s solutions are “UL recognised” and offer a combination of the ribbon, label, and adhesive, according to the company.
Labels for durable goods and equipment must be able to “consistently perform in harsh environments,” IIMAK continued, due to the lengthy lifespan of such goods, such as appliances, heating and cooling equipment, power tools, outdoor equipment like lawn mowers and air conditioners, small motors, compressors or generators.
Labels on these products are not just used for product identification, but also provide crucial instructions and warnings to customers, in terms of both use and maintenance of their equipment.
As a result, many durable goods require UL 969 Recognised Label Solutions, IIMAK explained.
“Rather than submitting a labelling system to UL for testing, select an already approved IIMAK ribbon to save money and to ensure your opportunity stays on schedule,” the company declared.
Earlier this year, IIMAK announced the worldwide launch of its ResinJet Series replacement inks, described as “the industry’s first high-quality, compatible alternative for use in Hewlett-Packard latex printers” and offering “outdoor durability.”
